Nature nut, author and Native Californian, Bia fell head-over-heels for the North Fork some twenty years ago.

“I was gobsmacked when I first walked into The Old Mill,” she says, “It embodied everything I hoped would never change about this corner of Long Island. The estuary is a wellspring and the building still flaunts a turn of the century swagger.“
